ABOUT S & H ELECTRIC LLC
S & H Electric was started in 2000 by Larry and Christina Hurst. It was named after our daughters, Samantha and Hannah, who were three and one at the time. Little did we know, two years later we would be blessed with a son, Ben. Unfortunately, Ben missed out on getting his initial in the name of the company, but after two years in business there was no changing the name. Our business has been a big part of our lives. We have grown over the years, but have never lost focus on quality and meeting the needs of our customers.
After renting space on the east side of Hamilton for many years, we built a shop of our own in 2016 in McGonigle, Ohio (between Oxford and Hamilton). This put our shop closer to our home in Southern Preble County and allows us to better serve our customers. We serve Hamilton, Butler, Warren and Southern Preble counties. We also do commercial projects in Cincinnati Ohio, Northern Kentucky and as far north as Dayton.
- Insurance. We are fully insured up to $1,000,000.00 and covered by Ohio and Kentucky Worker’s Compensation.
- Training. Larry Hurst, the owner, completed a 5 year apprenticeship program between 1993 – 1998. He completes continuing education, training, and seminars by leading manufacturers on new technology and wiring methods each year.
- Safety. We have a highly trained and safety conscience workforce, OSHA compliant.
- Code compliance. Through training and communication, we stay current on code and local building department regulations. We deal with many building departments in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky on a daily basis.
